‘Q-Eline is a rootstock that definitely deserves our attention’

“Q-Eline may be an interesting rootstock because of its greater frost tolerance. We haven’t yet gained any experience with Xenia grafted on Q-Eline because the first trees were planted at a nursery only this season. Xenia is a new pear variety that produces large, crisp, juicy pears with a good keeping quality. What we do already know is that the Q-Eline rootstocks produce greener pears. So all in all it’s a rootstock that definitely deserves our attention.”
